Interviewing Your Child

A few months ago I saw a fantastic idea out there in blogland. The idea was that you interview your child and capture a great little memory of their responses for you to keep and enjoy in future years. I have been meaning to do this for a while and today I plan to sit down with Rosie and Harry and have a really good chat and fill in our interview sheets together. :)
There are a few versions of these floating around on the web but none had exactly the questions I was looking for. This meant I had to devise my own and I have saved the template to use for next time. I think it will be a great thing to do once a year with the kids and to keep in their personal albums.
First of all, I have decided to ask the 'favourite' questions:
How old are you?
What is your favourite colour?
What is your favourite animal?
What is your favourite movie?
What is your favourite book?
What is your favourite food to eat?
What is your favourite song to sing?
What is your favourite holiday?
Then a few more general questions:
Who is your best friend?
What do you want to be when you grow up?
If you could change your name, what would you choose? (This should be a laugh!)
What games do you like to play?
What makes you happy?
What makes you sad?
What do you love about Mummy?
What do you love about Daddy?
Finally, I will get them to write their name for me.
Rosie will be able to fill her own sheet out and I will record Harry's responses for him. I am sure he will enjoy signing his name at the end. I am really looking forward to spending some time on this today and it will hopefully springboard some lovely discussion. :)
