Through the power of Facebook we have been reunited with our childhood BFF, Rosie!
We grew up with Rosie in Melbourne and attended Elwood Primary School together for several years. We could be found at each other's houses all the time and we were inseparable. Luz and I have so many memories of great times together and have often talked about Rosie over the years.
Recently we found out that Rosie would be visiting New Zealand for her work as a sports psychologist for an elite Australian sailing team and we were able to meet up with her! I can't describe how GREAT it was to see her again and talking to her it felt like no time had passed at all, even though it had been over 20 years! I honestly never thought our paths would cross again and had no idea how we could contact her so it was amazing to find each other again and catch up. Luz and I are already discussing the possibility of a girls weekend in Melbourne with Rosie and a revisit of all our old haunts! I can't wait! :)
