Harry had his 4 year immunisations last week and earned himself two badges of honour. Rosie had filled him with fear so he needed his hand held on the way into the doctor's surgery.
To my amazement, he didn't cry at all with either injection and was a real trooper! We distracted him with talk of his favourite food, strawberries, and then it was all over. He was rewarded with a real strawberry sundae for his bravery.
The funny thing is that he sees his two plasters as badges of honour and now refuses to remove them! He has shown the teachers and all his friends at preschool, I imagine he will show anyone who will listen. I wonder how long it will be before they fall off?
